June 18, 2009 we went to Hotel ZaZa to support the SPCA at their Pet Soiree. There was a "Battle of the Boutiques" where 8 local stores vied against each other for fun, and to help entertain the guests at the event.
There were two heats, one for swim or beachwear, and the other for evening or haute couture. All boutiques were supposed to enter both contests and there would be a winner, and runner-up for each event, along with an Overall Winner.
We entered Teddy and Tinkerbell (owned by customer Martha Brasell) in the swimwear with matching sailor outfits from Pooch Outfitters and a custom boat made just for them by my husband and father-in-law.....
Wedding attire was worn in the evening wear division, and again Teddy's dad Rusty and his grandpa supplied their ride - a custom made princess carriage!
Well - Pawty Palace won Overall Winner prize which was a magazine spread in Houston Pet Talk Magazine along with a night's stay in the Hotel ZaZa's "Pawty Like a Rock Star" suite which sleeps 10 and is over 2100 sq.ft..

Hey there Jen & Lisa--Congrats on your big WIN!!! I was hoping to go to the event to support you...and very sorry now that I couldn't. Can't wait to see the spread in Houston Pet Talk---you really deserve the attention!

Jen...Mom and I were so honored you asked Tinkerbell to be apart of an awsome event to support the Houston SPCA.
Congrats to you, Lisa & Rusty for all of your hard work putting together your props and everything else that went into this event. You all did a great job!
CONGRATS for winning the Grand Prize too & can't wait to see you in Houston Pet Talk in Sept.
Oh...Congrats to Teddy & Tinkerbell as they modeled their outfits wonderfully.
