Pawty Palace is a winner in the Readers Choice Awards

The Pawty Palace is very pleased and happy to report that that we are winners in The Houston Pet Talk 2010 Readers' Choice Awards. The results were just announced!

PP took the "Best in Show" (1st place) for "Best Unique Pet Service" for our birthday pawties.
PP took the Silver Paw (2nd place) for "Best Dog Grooming Facility in Houston".
PP took the "Tail Wagger" (3rd place) for "Best Cat Grooming Facility in Houston".

Yappy Hour Cancelled for June 18th.....

Sorry folks, have to cancel Yappy Hour for June 18th, my son is coming home from Iraq, flying out tomorrow to meet the plane at Ft.Riley in Kansas.

We can have it next weekend if everyone would like to postpone a week.
Pls forgive me but mama needs to go see her baby!

We dressed the burb up as a HOUND DOG and entered the parade again this year. Scotlyn and Alex rode in back and tossed candy while Lisa and I tried to see thru the giant eyes painted on the windshield. Happy to report we didnt run over anyone and had a great time! :o)

PP wins 3rd Place in the FESTIVATREES Contest

Keep Katy Beautiful board members recognized Preferred Alliance Group Insurance Agency, 5606 Franz Road, as the first place winner of the Festivitrees contest. Congratulations to Tom Flores and his team!! Pawty Palace won 3rd place, come in and see our beautiful recycled 3rd Place Ribbon!

The purpose of the project was to promote businesses in Katy, beautify the downtown area for the holiday season by instilling pride in the community and educate people in the area of the need to recycle every day home and business products. Customers and shoppers had an opportunity to view these Christmas trees and vote for their favorites.

PICTURES from the RICE HARVEST FESTIVAL PARADE

We entered the Katy RIce Harvest Festival Parade and had Lisa's horse Stevie pull Teddy and Ella in their Cinderella Carriage. They were SO CUTE! Lisa's daughters Tiahna and Scotlyn handled Stevie and Vangie and her sister carried the Pawty Palace Banner. Lisa and I distributed candy to the crowd. It was a great day!
